The Pa Cham is also called as the dance of the powas (heroes) and the pams (heroines). The dance is performed as a respected ritual to transform the human world, with the aim of being in the presence of Guru Rinpoche. Dancers wear kind of a colour Khadhar, and decorative crowns on their head, with trang tri ( drums) and Dril Bu ( bells) on top.
